BCBS offers support, advice and information to children, young people and adults after somebody passes away.

Bridgend Community Bereavement Support (BCBS) is a registered charity that has been operating since 2017.
Our objectives is to ensure that every bereaved adult, young person and children within the Bridgend County and surrounding areas can access consistent and high quality Bereavement services. We value the support that we can offer, as one of our main aims is to help aid the wellbeing and potential mental health problems that may occur when going through the grieving process.

Some kind words from our group members…

My son has been attending the young persons group for roughly 4 months, within that time he has progressed so much and it is lovely to see him smile and hear his laugh again. He has benefited so much since attending the group and is gaining more and more confidence each week.

My boys attended their first session last night and even though one being a teenager was quite dubious about going. They came out all smiles and ready for the next one. I can not thank you all enough! It is amazing to have something available to help that doesn't have a waiting list and is run/supported by people who genuinely care. Thank you again and I will see you all again at the next one xx

My son suddenly passed away in December 2017 from natural causes. I started attended the group in late 2018 after finding the information in my doctor surgery. Since attending the group, my life has changed for the better as I have made new friends and don't feel alone any more.
