What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that there are different points on the hands and feet that correspond with different areas of the body. Each corresponding point within the hand or foot is defined as the ‘reflex’.
Reflexology is a therapy which can be received by anyone at any age – from new-born babies to those receiving end of life care, and everyone in between.
Trained reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe – the therapy is an individual treatment which is tailored to the person, taking into account both physical and non-physical factors that might be affecting somebodies wellbeing.
